The Superpower Within Us All – Cause Communications

No matter what our cause, as communicators we all strive to educate and engage. This goal is often more complex in practice than theory, especially given the gravity of some of these topics – not to mention the complex, intersectional layers that define much of the work taking place in our field. Read on for four tips about how we can be good stewards of these causes and strengthen our impact.

It’s November, which means many of us are focused on year-end fundraising activities, impact reports, and prepping that mouthwatering recipe for the office holiday party. This season is also an opportunity to slow down and reflect on what we are most grateful for.

Here at Cause Communications, we believe gratitude is a superpower that not only helps us create a deeper connection to ourselves, but to our work and the world around us. Whether it’s developing a skill, achieving a goal, or seeing the impact your organization makes in your community, we’ve found there are numerous ways to give thanks in each and every moment. Below you’ll find just a few of the reasons our own team members are grateful this season.

I am grateful that this year we published the 4th edition of our Communications Toolkit, a resource that reaches and supports people around the world who are using communications for good. I’m also grateful for the community of inspired leaders who help us advance this important work every day.
